# 10 – Your Love Is A Lie

First up on our countdown of the best songs by Simple Plan is the excellent “Your Love Is A Lie.” The track appeared on the band’s third album, also titled The Band, in 2008. # 9 – I Don’t Wanna Go to Bed

Here’s another great song by Simple Plan: “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed.” This song appeared on the 2015 album Doing It for the Team. The musicians broke out their best funk moves for this one. The horns in this Simple Plan song blast in and out of the verses, adding a fun element to the music. The band’s sound may have been influenced by Bruno Mars’ fame. The addition of Nelly’s skills as a rapper rounds out the package. Our group laughs every time we watch this parody of the popular TV show. Baywatch the video’s conclusion coincides with a cameo by David Hasselhoff.

# 8 – Untitled (How Could This Happen to Me?)

Astoundingly, many bands still release songs without titles. Distributors, record stores, and authors all have a harder time of it because of this. It’s the equivalent of a band releasing an album without a title or an artist ceasing to use their given name altogether. Sure, you can figure out who we’re referring to. Nonetheless, the album featured this outrageous Simple Plan song. Nothing seems to be working so far…. The song was the album’s third single. The song was so successful that the band reached #3 on Canada’s pop charts. It also reached the top 20 of the Billboard Mainstream AirPlay chart in the United States.

# 7 – Jet Lag

Similarities can be heard between the opening of this song and that of Guns N’ Roses’ massive hit “Sweet Child of Mine.” After the vocals are introduced, however, the song takes a sharp left turn. It’s a collaboration between her and Natasha Bedingfield on this song. The song was a huge success for the band because it is excellent. The year 2011 saw its release.
